Who the hell is Alex Ioannou? You don’t know? Shame on you!
Alex Ioannou was the worlds first Google Galaxy Nexus handset owner who, when yesterday walked into a Phones 4 U store and bought his brand new handset later found out that he had bought more than he bargained for.
After taking the handset home Alex realised that something just wasn’t right when he powered it on and got a developers styled menu instead of a bot animation. That’s right folks, Alex was given a Developer handset instead of a regular one.
Now from this there are few things I’d like to say. Alex took the phone back to Phones 4 U and got himself a new handset that worked perfectly fine the way it was intended (for consumers). IS HE MAD? Can you imagine how much money he would have got if he sold the handset which was clearly rooted and booted to Samsung / Google spec?
On another note the quest is now on to find out who ACTUALLY bought the first retail Galaxy Nexus.
Would you have sold it? How much would it have been worth?
