Do you have a Droid 2 Global? Are you sick of Froyo? Then today is your lucky day.

Motorola made it official today they will be releasing a staggered update to the Droid 2 Global that will be bring the long awaited gingerbread. It is staggered so some users may receive it today and some not for a week but don’t freak out just check daily for the update and enjoy once you get it. To check for the update go to Menu > Settings >  About Phone  > System Update.
