Following the news yesterday that the CyanogenMod team were considering making their own root only market place, more news has been released by the CM team. This news is that CyanogenMod has hit 1 million total installs.
This is an incredible statistic, and shows just how popular Android modding is. Especially if you consider that there are over 200 million Android users; meaning 1 in 200 users use CyanogenMod.
The most popular version is 7.1, with 238,215. The most popular device is the bravo, or as it is more commonly known, the HTC Desire. I’m sure that total number is bound to rise when CM9 is officially released.
