HTC ‘s recently released smartphones, the One S and One X got of to a great start with lots of rave reviews. Unfortunately this positive sign for HTC’s return as the maker of top Android handsets seems to be taking a downturn, with reports of camera and audio bugs, and now an issue with the ceramic coating rubbing off.
In Germany, HTC are swapping out devices with the coating problem for free, and now that they have admitted the problem they will likely be doing this worldwide. It’s still unclear how widespread of an issue this is, but this is certainly bad press that HTC doesn’t need while they try to make a comeback.
