HTC have a plethora of devices coming to the MWC and expectations are high on HTC to bring them back into contention on the Android platform.
The newest HTC flagship device is split between two handsets the HTC Ville and the HTC Edge (We’ll use codenames until they arrive), well some images have been set into the wild of the HTC Edge Aka the HTC One X which will be unveiled at the MWC in a few days.
Via leaks and sources details have been revealed to hold these following internals and specs.
- 4.7” Super LCD 2 Screen With A 1280 x 720p resolution
- NVIDIA Tegra 3 Quad-core processor
- 1GB Of RAM
- 8MP Rear Camera
- Android 4.0 ICS With Sense 4.0 UI
It’s looking likely it’ll be one of (If not the first), Quad-Core powered devices in the world of Smartphones. As you will see by the image, capacitive buttons are complimenting the handset instead of the onscreen software buttons we see on the Galaxy Nexus and ICS, the search button has however gone, with back, home and menu only present.
Another feature you may want to know about is that the HTC Edge Aka the HTC One X will be using a Micro-Sim card. Some are fans and some are not, but if you see by the second image with how thin the device is it’s understandable with all the technology that smartphones have progressed to hold.
HTC will be unveiling a whole host of devices on Sunday night in Barcelona, Spain at the Mobile World Congress. Keep tuned and we will keep you updated.
