The maestro and Mr.Root if you like Dan Rosenberg has done it again with gaining a root method for the LG Spectrum. Dan Rosenberg who is a security researcher and seemingly rooting expert, well he’s cracked it with yet another device for us all again.

He posted on his own blog and to quote the man he said "Yawn. LG loses, users win". Then going on to providing full instructions on how to use the method on Windows, Linux and Mac OSX. A massive contribution to the Android community and constant rooting methods brought to you by Rosenberg has brought a lot of flak recently due to asking for donations, just remember people that it’s hard work, free time given up and why shouldn’t you ask for something in return for your work that gifts so many.

The rooting method is simple.

To root your phone, install LG ADB drivers if on Windows, put the device in USB debugging mode, connect via USB, extract the zip file, and execute “run.bat” (on Windows) or “run.sh” from a terminal (on Linux/OSX).

Dan Rosenberg also amid the latest foray of disdain put this statement to accompany the rooting method details as well to highlight his feelings.
