HTC are currently working on Jelly Bean updates for their One XL and One S handsets according to Telstra Australia. This is hardly unexpected news but Telstra are the first to publicly acknowledge that work is ongoing. Strangely Telstra don’t currently stock the One S, so maybe this is an indication they are lining up the excellent handset for sale. Telstra also don’t sell the One X or One V but no details are listed for those devices, however we can expect at least the One X to get the update.
HTC regularly publicly release details of their ongoing update work but rarely meet their early release schedule. Don’t hold your breath for an update in the near future, but you can probably expect your Jelly Bean goodness before owners of Samsung or Sony devices.

UPDATE
A statement from Jeff Gordon, HTC Global Online Communications Manager, confirms their plans for Jelly Bean updates for the One X, XL, and S. There is still no confirmation of dates though.
“We know HTC fans are excited to get their hands on Google’s latest version of Android. At this point in time, we can confirm that we have plans to upgrade our HTC One X, HTC One XL and HTC One S to Jelly Bean. Please stay tuned for more updates regarding device upgrades, timing and other details about HTC and Jelly Bean.” Gordon stated.
Now come on Samsung, Sony, et al. Where are your upgrade statements? Maybe I am expecting too much!
