On a daily basis I am sent emails requesting us to write an app or game review on our site. On most occasions we choose not to as the app / game is either not what we think our readers would be interested in or too mass produced.

On this occasion the game I’m reviewing is neither of those and to be honest this review is more a warning than anything else. A warning to users to stay away from the app and a warning to developers that your app will be named and shamed if you come to us with such dribble to review.

Below is a list of permissions this game needs to be installed. The list is huge so be prepared to know that expanding this section will likely result in data overload.

Permissions

Permissions

  • YOUR MESSAGES
    SEND SMS MESSAGES
Allows the app to send SMS messages. This may result in unexpected charges. Malicious apps may cost you money by sending messages without your confirmation.
EDIT YOUR TEXT MESSAGES (SMS OR MMS)
Allows the app to write to SMS messages stored on your device or SIM card. Malicious apps may delete your messages.
  • NETWORK COMMUNICATION
    FULL NETWORK ACCESS
Allows the app to create network sockets and use custom network protocols. The browser and other applications provide means to send data to the internet, so this permission is not required to send data to the internet.
  • PHONE CALLS
    READ PHONE STATUS AND IDENTITY
Allows the app to access the phone features of the device. This permission allows the app to determine the phone number and device IDs, whether a call is active, and the remote number connected by a call.
    REROUTE OUTGOING CALLS
Allows the app to process outgoing calls and change the number to be dialed. This permission allows the app to monitor, redirect, or prevent outgoing calls.
  • STORAGE
MODIFY OR DELETE THE CONTENTS OF YOUR USB STORAGE
Allows the app to write to the USB storage.
  • SYSTEM TOOLS
    INSTALL SHORTCUTS
Allows an app to add shortcuts without user intervention.
  • BOOKMARKS AND HISTORY
READ YOUR WEB BOOKMARKS AND HISTORY
Allows the app to read the history of all URLs that the Browser has visited, and all of the Browser’s bookmarks. Note: this permission may not be enforced by third-party browsers or other applications with web browsing capabilities.
  • OTHER APPLICATION UI
    DRAW OVER OTHER APPS
Allows the app to draw on top of other applications or parts of the user interface. They may interfere with your use of the interface in any application, or change what you think you are seeing in other applications.
  • YOUR ACCOUNTS
    FIND ACCOUNTS ON THE DEVICE
Allows the app to get the list of accounts known by the device. This may include any accounts created by applications you have installed.
  • DEVELOPMENT TOOLS
    CHANGE SYSTEM DISPLAY SETTINGS
Allows the app to change the current configuration, such as the locale or overall font size.
  • NETWORK COMMUNICATION
    VIEW WI-FI CONNECTIONS
Allows the app to view information about Wi-Fi networking, such as whether Wi-Fi is enabled and name of connected Wi-Fi devices.
    VIEW NETWORK CONNECTIONS
Allows the app to view information about network connections such as which networks exist and are connected.
  • SYSTEM TOOLS
    MODIFY SYSTEM SETTINGS
Allows the app to modify the system’s settings data. Malicious apps may corrupt your system’s configuration.
    TEST ACCESS TO PROTECTED STORAGE
Allows the app to test a permission for USB storage that will be available on future devices.
  • AFFECTS BATTERY
    CONTROL VIBRATION
Allows the app to control the vibrator.
  • YOUR APPLICATIONS INFORMATION
    RUN AT STARTUP
Allows the app to have itself started as soon as the system has finished booting. This can make it take longer to start the device and allow the app to slow down the overall device by always running

When it comes to terribly made games this one is up there with the best of them. To start with the game needs far too many permissions and some of them are very alarming due to the app using airpush to deliver adverts on the game.

Airpush in itself is a joke and causes no end of problems for users however if you want to earn money from your app, using airpush is not the way to go. You are more likely to put people off using it than you would if you charged 10 pence / cents for it on the Play Store.

If you take away the adverts for this game and everything that is worrying then do you have a decent and addictive game? Absolutely not, the gameplay is terrible in that I can hit the bottles every time without any effort and as for the graphics, well lets just say that the 3D title the game has is not worthy.

This game lacks anything good and I would seriously advise everyone to stay miles away from it as well as other games of it’s type. Be careful what you install folks, there is far too much muck on Google Play.
