With the Samsung Galaxy S4 being one of the most attractive and expensive handsets on the market it’s important that we ensure it is protected whilst making sure the looks of the handset aren’t affected.

Finding a case for your phone that offers protection and looks great at the same time is almost an impossibility these days. They are either too bulky, cover too much of the design or simply look awful when applied to the phone?

I would be lying if I said I had a single complaint about this part of the case, it almost feels like an official accessory. [/toggle]

[toggle title=”Fitting and Removing” state=”open” ]Fitting the case is very easy, once the detachable side walls are removed you simply sit the handset on the main body of the case then place the side walls over the top pressing down firmly to close the case.  (as seen in the video)

As for removing the case from the device, it’s again very easy. Simply prize apart the case from the charging port area and the side walls simply come away from the main unit.

[toggle title=”Protection” state=”close” ]The lip around the top of the screen is fairly high so you can bet that the device will be protected well when dropped on the face first side however given that this case comes in two parts it’s highly likely that if it falls on its side first then the case will split on impact.

The main body of the case is Carbon Fibre so it’s highly unlikely that you will damage it if the impact is to the rear of the phone.[/toggle]

[toggle title=”Aesthetics” state=”close” ]It’s very rare for me to find a case that looks amazing when it’s attached to the handset, especially when the handset looks so good on its own however the Case Mate Carbon Fiber case is simply perfect in this department. It seems to add a touch of class to the phone which is rather unusual.[/toggle]
