Many of you will have had this issue - you go to Google+ open the action bar and press Locations, then all you see are peoples faces on a grey background - no world map…
The issue will soon become more apparent as people are forced to use Google+ locations as a replacement for Latitude which is being retired on 09 August 2013.
But for you root users there is a relatively simple fix available, read below to find out how - There is a link to a flashable update.zip file at the bottom of the article.
[toggle title=”Step 1″ state=”open” ]Move com.google.android.plus.apk (or similar name) from /data/app
to
/system app
DO NOT REBOOT - if google+ force closes, ignore it[/toggle]
[toggle title=”Step 2″ state=”open” ]Move the libs (not the directory) from /data/app-lib/com.google.android.apps.plus
to
/system/lib[/toggle]
[toggle title=”Step 3″ state=”open” ]Reboot[/toggle]
Job Done
