Earlier today I posted details of an advert for the upcoming Moto X handset from Motorola which is set to be released tomorrow however at that point very little was known about the customisation being offered by the handset.

Thanks to ABC News we can now reveal a little more about the upcoming handset and what’s being offered.

So it seems that users can select the colour of the case, have personal or custom photo’s pre-installed to the phones wallpaper gallery and allow for users to have customised engraving on the device. The part that has me won over though and set’s it apart from being just a case of “so what, I can choose any colour of Galaxy S4 I want and have it engraved (or melted in) then use my own wallpaper” is the fact that users can set different colours from the front, back and trim of the handset.

Admittedly it’s gimmicky and not to everyone’s taste however the question on everyone’s lips is… how much will this all set me back?
