Feedly has been tweeting updates pertaining to the Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attack they are undergoing. Feedly is claiming the perpetrators are attempting to extort money out of them to cease the activity. Feedly has refused to pay up in order to restore their service. They are working with their network providers to mitigate the attack.

This DDoS comes less than 24 hours after Evernote experienced a similar attack. I’m not Sherlock Holmes, but it doesn’t take much to make this deduction. This time, however, the attackers want money.
