Material design has taken over Android and we are seeing it in more and more applications each day. According to a leak at Droidcon by a Google employee we should see the Gmail app updated to material design beginning next week.
We shouldnât be surprised to see a staged rollout like previous versions of Gmail and the source states that it may begin as early as Monday November 3rd. Monday is going to be a big day with Lollipop source code being released to the public already and this just adds to the excitement.
