Just a week ago HP showed off some pictures of it’s new Chronowing smartwatch and we didn’t have much to go off but now we do. A video released on Vimeo shows how stylish this watch is and the functionality behind it.
Micheal Bastian is the man in the video who partnered with HP to make a stylish smartwatch and he did a good job in my opinion. This isn’t your typical smartwatch we have been seen it’s a monochrome LCD without a touchscreen or any fancy software but it’s simple, stylish and gets the job done giving you notifications on the go. The price is going to be $350 so we will have to see how that fares with customers once this thing hits the market.

It does resemble the Metawatch style of “smartwaching” although i like the Meta M1’s look better (that’s pure objective i know) this one also liooks nice. Ik like the round and the square details of the watch it looks like a “normal” watch this way. But in a space where you can buy a smartwatch from €55 (weloop) to €350 (Meta M1) i don’t know how the market is going to stabilise. The plus this watch does have is that it’s a HP product, although they made some verry terrible marketing desiccions also in the past (the product are fine most of the time)
